Being a Boss
Bitch is hard.
Pssst. Looking for this week’s Unwhelminar?
If I have to look at one more fucking sparkly t-shirt or rose gold mug with a pithy title on it, I’ll puke: Boss Bitch. She Boss. Boss Lady. Rise and Grind. Lady Boss. All of this glitter and pink is designed to soften the fact that running your own business and being a leader is hard fucking work, and that (just like in so many other areas) women have to DO IT ALL THEMSELVES.
I get it. You’re responsible for your own business, your customers, your pets, the household, your family, and so much more. You feel guilty for spending time on your business and guilty when you’re not spending time on your business. You feel like there’s never enough time or energy to get things done.
It’s all so overwhelming!
That’s where I come in.
Excuse, who are you exactly?
My name is Katie Christianson, and I’m here to help you un-whelm the overwhelm.
I have a unique eye for detail coupled with systems-level thinking, which means I look at your business or organization and it’s like I can see The Matrix. I see the connections and disconnections and where they can be fixed. I have a reputation as a nerd who gets shit done and still communicates well.
You’re probably really great at what you do.
You probably have gifts, talents, and abilities that are unique to you and that people would like to give you money to practice.
You probably also have hundreds of emails in your inbox, all awaiting your attention or action. Maybe you missed a deadline because it snuck up on you.
Could be that opportunities are slipping away as you’re busy doing other things (if only you knew what those other things were). And you KNOW you’re forgetting or missing or dropping something.
Maybe you already know the things that would make your life easier and your business run smoothly if only you had the time. You know you just need to get your shit together.
Maybe you’re completely overwhelmed and don’t even know where to start, but you know you need a goddamned life preserver because you’re drowning. You don’t even know where to find your shit, but you know it’s not together.
Or maybe you just need someone to help you keep your shit together. It’s all just so overwhelming!
Clients trust me with the stuff that’s hard to describe and even harder to enact: transitioning to new websites, platforms, and systems; email cleanup and management; creating and automating workflows and communications, and making sure the activities you spend the most time on are the ones that only you can do and that bring you the most joy—and money!

Click this magic little button and hit me up for a little one-on-one time.
Not sure yet? That’s cool. Lemme tell you a little more about what I do.
I don’t have a compilation of tidy packages to choose from.
That’s because every single client who works with me gets customized service. I listen to you and I figure out where my skills and talents overlap your needs. I can’t sell you tools that work for me, because that’s not what you need. You need solutions that work for you.
That’s where the magic is—in the listening. I ask a lot of questions and use the answers to craft solutions specifically for you. I’m here to ease your burden, help you out, empower you, and then get out of your way. Because what I really love to do is get rid of all the shit that stands between you and making money from your dreams.
What I’ve done is less important than what my clients have gotten out of it. I’ll just let them tell you:
With Katie’s help, I have systematized my entire business to easily capture leads, convert them to sales, and track every detail. She is my business alchemist, turning my tangled thoughts and ideas into gold.
Annelise Page Photography
Katie gives you action steps and a clear plan but she is also honestly emotionally invested in me and my success.
Sarah Magill, The Reel Sarah
Katie is one part emotional coach, one part cheerleader, and five parts organization extraordinaire. She broke down all tasks from idea inception through the end game of delivering a product of a brand new program.
Lindsey Thompson, Vital Qi Nutrition
I learned from Katie that often, when we feel like we are at capacity, we aren’t even close. We’re just doing too many of the wrong things!
Joe Cooke, Author
Maybe you notice the common theme here and probably the most important thing I do for any client: I listen, understand, and reassure.
One client calls me her “business ride or die.” Another calls me her “paid best friend.”
We should probably talk. Click this ish, and let’s spend some time.
If you got this far and you’re still not sure, that’s cool, too.
I choose my clients very carefully, and I only work with women or organizations whose mission fires me up or whose work deeply inspires me. I don’t just do work; I develop relationships. When my clients see more efficiency, greater mission delivery, time and money savings, and smoother operations, they sleep better, feel joy, and love their work. That’s what I love.
If that’s not what you’re looking for, we can still be friends. You can always sign up for a newsletter with stories about cool chick entrepreneurs and leaders, practical tips and tools, and slightly snarky (okay, very snarky) commentary. And if you decide we should work together in the future, I’ll be right here.
If you’re looking for something else, like strategic planning help, team-building stuff that won’t make people gag, or a public speaker who may curse at your event, you can use this same magic button, and we can talk!
